Miramonte Class of 2016 alumna Sabrina Ionescu has gone on to become one of the most accomplished players in women’s basketball, earning national honors in college, being selected No. 1 in the WNBA Draft, and winning both a WNBA Championship and Olympic gold. Alongside this honor, the school is launching the Gymnasium Modernization Campaign to invest in important facility upgrades. While the naming celebrates Sabrina’s legacy, the campaign focuses on modernizing the space itself. The Miramonte gymnasium has long been a central space for athletics, school spirit, and community events. Nearly every student passes through its doors as an athlete, a performer, a fan, or a participant in school-wide gatherings. It is one of the most visible and heavily used spaces on campus, serving students and athletes year-round.
